You can move the camera around to get an overview of the map and find the best strategy clicking on one of the opponents reveals their field of view and direction it also shows if you can be seen when prone your goal is to maneuver past the enemy without being discovered in anyway to do this each character has a unique skill and there are different items that can be picked up on the map like bottles or weapons.
War Mongrels Review: The gameplay mechanics are pretty similar to real-time classics such as commandos or desperados and if you played and enjoyed them you will easily get the hang of war mongrels as well except for the cut scenes at the beginning of each mission the game is completely played in isometric perspective and you choose one or more of the characters and send them to a location or plan different actions with simple point and click mechanics with the WASD keys.
